FRPE is part of the decades-long project of making and claiming discursive space for a variety of feminisms and feminist research in economics by generations of feminist scholars before us.

We borrow the nomenclature of “feminist political economy” from the most recent (2001) special issue of Rethinking Radical Political Economics (RRPE) on the political economy of women, and add the word “radical” to highlight how this feminist scholarship can offer radical critiques of capitalism and may explore alternative modes of production and provisioning.

If you would like to be added to an email list of folks interested in feminist radical political economy, please follow the instructions on the Listserv page.
